Objectives of the CEXTEC Talent and Excellence Awards

The City Council of Santiago de Compostela, as a member and promoter of the Local Pact for Employment of Santiago de Compostela, has as one of its most relevant objectives to support local productive development, job creation and a talent management model that stimulates its attraction and retention.

With this purpose, and within the actions of the Local Pact for Employment, it announces these awards to encourage the completion of academic studies related to employment, job creation and talent management, as well as to promote the dissemination of the knowledge generated.

With the vocation of generating shared knowledge for the development of a local job market aimed at creating more and better jobs in the city, promoting research by students and academics around the same problem, to find solutions that affect job creation.

Take part

The academic works object of this call refer to the following categories, with a total of 20,000 EUR in prizes: Final Degree Projects (TFG); End of Master’s Works (TFM); Doctoral thesis; and Research Works. The thematic lines of said works will have to be related to the field of employment, talent management and human resources.

Academic works must:

  • Either, having been presented and defended at the University of Santiago de Compostela in the 2018/19 or 2019/2020 academic years, or they must be unpublished works prepared by professors and researchers linked to research groups at this university.
  • Either, having been presented and defended in the 2018/19 or 2019/2020 academic years by students / those registered in Santiago de Compostela or they are unpublished works prepared by teachers and researchers / registered in Santiago de Compostela .

The bases of the awards for academic works on employment convened by the Santiago City Council were published BOP of A Coruña No. 198 of November 20, 2020.

The deadline for submitting applications is 15 calendar days from the day following the publication of the call, so the deadline for submitting applications ends on December 5, 2020.
